Losing weight seems very tough, sometime you fell like you are doing everything thing right but not getting result. You may actually be hindering your progress by following misguided or outdated advice.
Here are 8 common mistakes we all do while dieting

1. DON'T DIET, EAT HEALTHY INSTEAD

One of the biggest problems with diet is that they rarely work in long term. Every people who diet tend to gain more weight over time. In short, dieting is the prediction of future weight gain.

Instead of going on diet, aim to be healthy and happy in life. If you eat healthy food then you will lose weight automatically.

2. FORGET SUGAR DRINK AND CALORIES INSIDE IT

One study have showed that, most popular starbuck drink have 40g to 60g of sugar, which is 2 to 3 times as much as the maximum amount you should eat every day. 

You should drink a lot of water. But if you cant stand the blandness of plain water, try adding lemon wedges, or mint leaves to it, so that it will give some change to its taste. Unsweetened green tea and coffee are also a good beverage option.

3. NOT EATING ENOUGH PROTEIN 

it is very important to get enough protien if you are trying to lose weight. In fact protien have been shown to help with weight loss in several ways. 

It can reduce appetite, increase metabolic rate, increase feeling of fullness and protect muscle mass during weight loss. So to optimize weight loss, make sure that your each meal contain a high protein food.

4. WEIGHTING YOURSELF TOO OFTEN

Weighting yourself everyday will not directly hinder weight loss, but it can give you a lot of frustration. Its very important to know that a healthy and successful weight loss is a very slow process.

You can try a measuring tape around your waist and other things to track your progress once a week. Of you really need to weight yourself to keep yourself motivated then don't do it more then once a week or even once every 2 weeks.

5. SKIPPING MEALS OR BREAKFAST 

One habbit that is common in the people who lose weight is that they never skip breakfast. Many people thinks that skipping breakfast will help them to lose many calories, but if you skip you breakfast, you will end up in gaining more calories. 

Studies show people who eat breakfast have lower BMIs than breakfast-skippers and perform better, whether at school or in the boardroom." Try a bowl of whole-grain cereal topped with fruit and low-fat dairy or fried egg for a quick and nutritious start to your day.

6. OVEREATING HEALTHY FOOD

Healthy food is very important to loss weight but if you eat excessive healthy food then it will definitely lead to weight gain, because calories are still calories, and if you eat excessive calories then you will gain weight very easily. 

You should look up for single serving of healthy food and stick to them. A single serving of avocado, for example 1/3 of whole avocado is fine to eat. The same thing apply for other food, It is necessary to keep the serving size in mind.

7. NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP

When it comes to health then people always neglect sleep and stress, but they both play a very crucial role in losing weight.

A lack of sleep may disrupt the appetite-regulating hormones leptin and ghrelin. Another hormone, cortisol, becomes elevated when you're stressed. If these harmonies are disturbed then you will fell hungry pretty often and will eat a lot of food.

8. NOT EATING ENOUGH FIBERS

A low fiber diet may be the only compromise your weight loss efforts.Eating fiber rich food satisfies your hunger for a very long time. They help in lossing weight because they contain a supplement called glucocorticoids which help in weight loss. Studies also indicates that one type of fiber, viscous fiber is particularly helpful for weight loss.it increases fullness and reduce food intake.

Viscous fiber is also found in plant food. Example includes beans, oats cereals, Brussels sprouts,  asparagus, oranges and flax seeds.
